WIRELESS ACCESS TO WINDOWS DREAMSCENE

I was working on my computer when I suddenly started to think about what a difference wireless communication has made to everyone. What everyone now takes for granted was unheard of 100 years ago. How we have progressed so much is unbelievable and the wireless communication has had an enormous impact on the world. Who could imagine a world without the computer, mobile phones, television and radio? People use phones daily to communicate with one another and sending information overseas is possible through wireless network systems using satellites and other signals to communicate. Emergency services utilize wireless networks to send important information quickly. Another important use for wireless networks is an inexpensive and rapid way to the Internet in countries where the telecom infrastructure is poor as in most developing countries.

As I stared at the now blank screen on my computer an idea came to me. Someone I know had told me about windows dream scene and animated backgrounds. Apparently the computer desktop can now have animated backgrounds. With Windows dream scene you can create animated desktop wallpaper from any video file on your computer that’s in either mpeg or wmv format. Dreams are subtle, looped motion videos or animations that bring new life to the desktop without slowing down your computer. If I was to have a windows dream scene on my desktop I would choose a dream where people are speaking to one another over their mobile phones, maybe E mailing each other or using the Internet. The more I thought about having a windows dream scene the more excited I became. I looked up all the information I could find about it and was surprised to find that there are almost 200 different dreams already in use with animated backgrounds. I browsed through the vast selection which included landscape dreams, science fiction dreams and a wide variety of other animated backgrounds.

Even though there were so many to choose from I am pleased to say that I have the windows dream scene that I originally thought of with animated backgrounds. It cheers me up every time I switch on my computer. Instead of just a boring desktop my desktop wallpaper comes alive as though I am in an office with other people. Two people are talking on their mobile phones as they walk around and move through an open door. The next time we see them they are sitting at their computers connected to the Internet. Finally these two people are shown sitting at home watching the television. What a fantastic dream this was. Of course, all this is possible through wireless access. However, in recent times there have been concerns linking wireless communications with poor concentration, memory loss, nausea and even cancer and questions of safety have been raised. But I like so many more, never even think about such things. I know I couldn't manage without wireless access and being able to communicate so easy with everyone I need to; I think I'll leave all that to other people to worry about.
